Battery is an electrochemical device that stores chemical energy which can be converted into electrical energy, thereby providing a direct-current voltage source. It is a device that produces electricity, and it may have several primary or secondary cells arranged in parallel or series. Battery was invented in the Eighteen’s Century, and as its development, there are two general types of batteries now. They are Primary battery and Secondary battery. The primary battery delivers current as the result of a chemical reaction that is not efficiently reversible. The secondary battery also named storage battery; it is rechargeable because it delivers current as the result of a chemical reaction that is easily reversible.
